Amanda, a client of our Mobile Veteran Outreach program, was living in her RV in a library parking lot when she reached out for help. Like many veterans facing housing instability, Amanda was doing everything she could to get by—but when her vehicle battery failed, it threatened more than just transportation. It put her only form of shelter at risk.
Our team stepped in to replace her battery, helping restore a sense of stability and security. During the visit, Amanda also gratefully accepted additional supplies to support her day-to-day needs.
Moments like this are a powerful reminder that sometimes, it’s the smallest interventions that make the biggest difference. Because of your support, we’re able to show up when veterans like Amanda need it most.
