Gold Coast Veterans Foundation is proud to partner with Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank to ensure local veterans have consistent, dignified access to nutritious food. Throughout the year, veterans can visit Manna’s well-stocked pantry during operating hours, and GCVF coordinates homebound deliveries so groceries reach veterans who are unable to drive themselves.
To sustain this year-round support, we organize two community food drives each year—before Memorial Day and before Veterans Day.
Look for our blue collection barrels and signs at participating businesses across Ventura County. Donate shelf-stable items and we’ll handle pickup and delivery directly to Manna.
How you can help:
Host a barrel: We will deliver a blue collection barrel at your business, school, or church, and schedule a pick-up
Donate items: Most-needed goods include canned proteins, low-sodium soups, beans, rice, pasta, shelf-stable milk, peanut butter, and healthy snacks.
Volunteer: Help collect and sort donations or help with pantry delivery days.
Timing:
Memorial Day Drive: 3 weeks leading up to Memorial Day.
Veterans Day Drive: 3 weeks leading up to November 11.
Together, we’re making sure no veteran in our community has to choose between food and other essentials.
