Stranded on the side of the 101 with nowhere to go. At 89 years old, Air Force veteran Daniel was living in his vehicle with his dog when it broke down recently, putting both of them at immediate risk.

Our team at Gold Coast Veterans Foundation responded quickly. We transported Daniel to an assistive care shelter, arranged for his vehicle to be towed and repaired (preventing it from being impounded) and secured a foster home for his dog while a permanent housing solution is determined.
