Here’s How You Can Participate in the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count!

LET’S MAKE EVERYONE COUNT!
The Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count will take place on February 22 from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sites all throughout Ventura County include the following cities: Ventura, Camarillo, Ojai, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks, Fillmore, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, and Unincorporated Areas.
Here’s how you can participate in the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count on February 22!
- Sign up on the Volunteer Ventura County website. Clicking here will take you directly to the page dedicated to the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count.
- Criteria for all volunteers:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be able to travel around the community.
- You have to be able to download the mobile app called “Counting Us” by Simtech Solutions to submit the survey you will fill out with the homeless person.
- The County of Ventura highly recommends attending a volunteer training session. The final volunteer training will take place on Wednesday, February 21, at the Ventura County Government Center Hall of Administration (800 S. Victoria Ave.) from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
