Here’s How You Can Participate in the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count!

LET’S MAKE EVERYONE COUNT!

The Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count will take place on February 22 from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sites all throughout Ventura County include the following cities: Ventura, Camarillo, Ojai, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks, Fillmore, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, and Unincorporated Areas.

Here’s how you can participate in the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count on February 22!

1. Sign up on the Volunteer Ventura County website. Clicking here will take you directly to the page dedicated to the Ventura County 2018 Homeless Count.
2. Criteria for all volunteers:
   • You must be at least 18 years old.
   • You must be able to travel around the community.
   • You have to be able to download the mobile app called “Counting Us” by Simtech Solutions to submit the survey you will fill out with the homeless person.
3. The County of Ventura highly recommends attending a volunteer training session. The final volunteer training will take place on Wednesday, February 21, at the Ventura County Government Center Hall of Administration (800 S. Victoria Ave.) from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
